During an interview, Orlando Hypnosis Clinic‘s hypnotherapist, Danny Jackson, CHT, outlined his work and why he does it.
Why did you start your Orlando business in hypnosis?
“From an early age I have always had an interest in hypnosis and the power of the human mind to effect dramatic and instant changes in peoples’ lives. As my career evolved my desire to help people led me into a career in counseling. Specifically I helped people with the issues of anger management, substance abuse, and parenting. Having already become fairly comfortable with hypnosis, I decided it was time to invest the time and effort to becoming a certified hypnotist. Afterwards, I spent the next several years helping people using hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a primary modality.”
What makes you different than other hypnotists or similar businesses in the Orlando community?
“As a Certified Hypnotist / Hypnotherapist, Counselor, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy) practitioner, I have spent the majority of the past 10 years working with clients suffering from compulsive behavior and dependence on a variety of substances of abuse. I have had the good fortune to work with several Mental Health Professionals over the years, and to help their clients through hypnosis & hypnotherapy in areas as diverse as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress syndrome, ADD / ADHD, and schizophrenia to name a few. This has provided me with tools, experience, and insights most hypnotists are never able to experience.”
